A passion for beer is what brought me here. The same might well be true for you! I offer a range of services, ranging from (themed) tastings, all kinds of beer-related advisory services for the hospitality industry, to training and education for all those interested.

About me!
My name is Marcel Haas and
I am a big beer enthusiast. After a two-decade career of becoming an ever
more experienced consumer I decided to satisfy my craving for knowledge about beer
by following an educational program to become a beer sommelier. After a tumultuous start in the midst of the covid pandemic,
I enjoyed level 1 of StiBON,
the recognized Dutch beer educator, in Leiden and Level 2 in Utrecht.
In June of 2023 this culminated, in Austria!
I obtained my International Diplom Biersommelier from the Kiesbye Akademie in Obertrum bei Salzburg.
The final two days were a blast, on to the coming years! I love educating people, so I am a tour guide at
Brouwerij Pronck in Leiden, where I also run a program of Masterclasses!
